A website that makes a brand-new contractor believable, designed and built in Next.js with Claude Code for a civil engineering firm in Kerala.
Kuriottu Brothers is a civil engineering and construction firm in Pathanapuram, Kollam, founded in 2026 by an engineer with nine years on highway, bridge and metro rail sites. It had a name and a logo, and no web presence. Work here comes by phone and WhatsApp, and a client checks whether a contractor is real before calling.
A new firm has no project record, and a contractor’s site that pretends otherwise is worse than none, because tenders get checked by phone. The site had to make a young firm credible without claiming anything it could not back up, and work for people who contact a builder by tapping a number.
I set the rules and Claude Code wrote to them. Every company fact lives in one content file, and an unknown fact stays empty rather than getting a plausible placeholder. A missing phone number or licence removes its section instead of showing something false.
The first look was light paper and red. I recoloured to navy and gold, which reads as steady and civil without looking corporate.
With no finished jobs, the site leads with how the firm works.
Four pages (Home, About, Projects, Contact) and a private brand sheet, live on its own domain.
Replace the stock photographs with the firm’s own site photos, add finished jobs to Projects as they are documented, and claim the Google Business Profile, which will outperform the site for local searches like “road contractor Pathanapuram”.
